DESCRIPTION:The 11th Annual Tony Mc Gowan Run is back on the Blueway on Sunday the 19th of February 2023. \nWe look forward to welcoming you all back for our 5k\, 10k\, and half marathon events. \nOur event has grown too large numbers in the last few years so get in early and avoid the disappointment of missing out on the day \n5k                            €20 (Finisher Medal and option to buy vest€10) \n10k                          €30 (finisher medal and vest) \n1/2 marathon           €45(finisher medal and vest) \nLike everyone up and down the country\, our community has been deeply saddened by the tragic events that happened in Creeslough\, Co Donegal. \nWith this in mind\, our chosen charity donation from our 2023 event will be made to the Creeslough community support fund through the Irish Red Cross. \nThe second charity The Tony McGowan Run will be donating to this year is The Gavin Glynn Foundation\, a wonderful charity that takes the financial stress and burden from families with sick children. They are currently supporting local girl Rachael McGovern and her family. \nChip Timing by Core Timing \nMedal and finishers vest for all runners.
